Equipment Features

  • The CNC shoe last digitizer uses a measuring mechanism to digitize the surface of shoe lasts. The CNC system precisely controls the measuring mechanism moving upward and the shoe last rotating. The positions of the cylinder as well as those of the vertical and the rotating axes are logged.
  • The CNC shoe last maker retrieves the surface data recorded by the digitizer and calculates the tool path according to the cutting speed and pitch specified by operators. The shoe last maker accurately controls the feeding axis as well as the upward and the rotating axes therefore to produce shoe lasts with precise and smooth surface details.
  • The both shoe last machines provide a displaying tool capable of manipulating 3D shading models in order to examine the digitized shoe lasts. Tens of thousands of digitized shoe lasts can be stored and managed. The operation of the machines is easy and intuitive.

Controls Features

  • The shoe last digitizing process is fully computer-controlled and the digitizing speed is adjustable (currently 5~10 RPM and 2-mm pitch for about 10~15 minutes). The shoe last being digitized could be left or right shoe but all are digitized into data of left shoe for convenient management and prevention of mishandling.
  • The shoe last making process is fully computer-controlled. Two pairs of shoe lasts can be produced at one time. The processing speed is adjustable (currently 8~60 RPM and 0.1~7-mm pitch for about 2~5 minutes). The shoe last making process is fast and accurate along with shoe dimensions enlarging or shrinking for size 3 without change of the shoe shape. Multi-pass making process is available to accomplish the rough and fine machining processes automatically.
  • The shoe last digitizing process records 2000 data every second and produces a tool path with 360 or 720 data for each revolution provided for high quality shoe last making process.
